Weekly Services

Sunday Worship Service meets in the Sanctuary at 10:30AM at 218 Blackjack Oak Ln, Lexington 29073. Children, of all ages, are encouraged and welcome to attend the worship service at 10:30am with their families.

We have a nursery for children Kindergarten age and younger (although all are welcome that are elementary age) during the sermon portion of the service.

On Wednesdays there is a small group book study at 12 noon that meets in the Fellowship Hall.

Missions

“Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead,  and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Luke 24:46-49

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus has given us this great mission to proclaim the gospel and make disciples throughout the world. We fulfill this mandate as a church locally through devoting ourselves to the apostles’ teaching [the Bible], fellowship, prayer, the breaking of bread (Acts 2:42),  and proclaiming the gospel to our neighbors.

Our church supports international missions through the Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program and through direct giving to missionaries serving around the globe on the mission field.
